The Bethlehem Retreat Centre has been operated by Benedictine Sisters of The House of Bread Monastery since 1987.

It is Roman Catholic, but persons of all faiths are welcome to participate.

Our main building has a workshop for meetings as well as services.

There are 36 bedrooms with shared baths at Bethlehem Retreat Centre; several meeting rooms and lounges, two dining rooms and a chapel. Handicapped availability in some buildings.

No smoking, no pets. Inquire about prices.

The Setting

Located on seven acres on Westwood Lake with delightful views over the water and the hills beyond. Excellent trails.

No motors on lake; no houses across from our Retreat Centre.

Labyrinth

This meditative pathway can be used for those on a spiritual journey from any tradition. Friendly to those with walking difficulty or need the use of a cane, walker, or wheelchair.

Bethlehem schedules a wide variety of retreats and workshops throughout the year. Classes in Scripture, Prayer, spiritual healing and growth meet weekly.

The staff or renowned retreat directors conduct many weekend events. Taize Prayer and Meditation groups are offered regularly. Spiritual Directors are available.

Individuals are also welcome to come for private retreats or sojourns.

Retreats, meetings, groups from churches, government, schools and other non-profit organizations are welcome to schedule events here on weekdays or weekends.
